Title X

If you do not have health insurance, you may be qualified to get family planning care at reduced rates, or in some cases free, depending on your family income.

Title X, a government-funded programs, supplements costs of birth control, breast and cervical cancer screenings, and other reproductive health services.

This program does not pay for abortion care.

Services that Title X health centers may offer:
  • Reproductive life/family planning counseling
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Birth control counseling and supplies/methods
  • Gynecological examinations and basic lab tests
  • Breast and cervical cancer screenings
  • Sexually Transmitted Disease testing and treatment
  • HIV testing and risk reduction counseling
  • Sterilization (for adult women and men only)
  • Community education and outreach
